We’re looking for someone to make two videos about the Circular Economy School, over the next two months.
WHAT IS THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY SCHOOL?
The Circular Economy School is a new project in Park Royal, to help local young people learn how to make products from waste materials – and develop the skills they need for jobs in the circular and design economies.
The school is a partnership between three projects – Absolute Beginners, Recollective and Rescued Clay. We’re running a series of workshops where young people from Brent, Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham work together to create new products – and sell them at a bespoke market stall! The project is funded by Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation.

WHAT DO WE NEED?
We need:
→ Video of the young people making the products/the market stall.
This will be happening from Tuesday 31st March to Thursday 2nd April 2026; and from Thursday 9th April to Saturday 11th April 2026. We imagine you’ll need to come twice over this time, to capture some prototyping and some production!
→ Video of the young people at the market stall, selling their products!
This will be happening on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026. You’ll only need to come for one day.
↑The young people learn to make a lamp out of discarded materials.
WHAT ARE THE OUTPUTS?
→ We’d imagine each video will be around 2-3 minutes long – possibly with a shorter edit for instagram.
→ We’ll need our branding/the funder’s branding to be included at the end of each video.
→ We’ll be sharing the videos as reels on instagram.
→ We might also share them as part of the market stall/launch.
WHAT IS THE BUDGET?
→ We have a budget of £1000. This covers all costs and materials.
